Best & Flanagan is pleased to welcome Savannah Welch and Kumayl Lakha as outstanding additions to our Family Law and Intellectual Property practice groups.
Savannah Welch joins the firm’s Family Law practice group. Savannah's approach to casework is based in compassion and practicality, and she prides herself in finding creative solutions for her clients. Her practice includes divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, third-party custody, domestic abuse, post-decree matters, and other areas of family law. Prior to joining Best & Flanagan, Savannah enjoyed a four-year Clerkship at the Hennepin County Family Justice Center and several years at other local family law firms. She is a graduate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she served as student body president.
Kumayl Lakha is an intellectual property attorney helping clients from individual inventors to large multinational corporations protect their innovative ideas. He loves learning from inventors about their work and is committed to obtaining an in-depth understanding of each invention. Kumayl's patent practice covers a wide swath of technology areas including aerospace, mechanical, and electrical applications. He is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
