“Attorney of the Year” Ceremony, Best & Flanagan’s Thomas B. Heffelfinger Honored
Best & Flanagan shareholder Thomas B. Heffelfinger has been recognized by Minnesota Lawyer as a 2011 Attorney of the Year. This award is reserved for a select group of attorneys from throughout the state who have distinguished themselves through exemplary work. Criteria for selection include leadership in the profession, procuring a successful result in an important case and public service.
This year’s Attorneys of the Year will be featured in a special section in Minnesota Lawyer and during an awards dinner that was held on February 23, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Minneapolis.
Tom is head of the firm’s white collar criminal and regulatory defense practice and is a member of the firm’s Native American Practice Group and Civil Litigation Section, providing services in investigations, criminal defense and compliance programs, Indian law and commercial litigation
Tom received his J.D. from the University Of Minnesota Law School. He received his B.A. (History) from Stanford University. Tom has served twice as United States Attorney, District of Minnesota, United States Department of Justice appointed by President George HW. Bush and again by President George W. Bush; confirmed by the United States Senate.
