Best & Flanagan is pleased to announce Martha Engel has been appointed to Minnesota State University Mankato’s ‘Women in Leadership’ Advisory Board.
As a former General Counsel and C-suiter at a medtech company, Martha provides counsel to clients on a wide range of legal topics. She also has over 15 years of experience in intellectual property, assisting clients with drafting and prosecuting patent applications, obtaining trademark registrations, and enforcing intellectual property rights. Martha is currently on the board of Smart North, an organization promoting digital equity and opportunity for youth and marginalized communities, and she has previously held leadership roles at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Visitation Alumnae Association. Martha is zealous in her support of women in STEM and legal industry.
About the Women in Leadership Program: This program is designed by experts across multiple industries for female professionals seeking advice and practical tools, and aims to teach women the nuances of effective leadership through hands-on projects and interactive discussions with peers and instructors. This certification looks to uplift and empower women to break barriers in the workforce.
