At its annual meeting last week, the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) appointed Katherine Barrett Wiik, Amy Conners, Joel Schroeder, and Bernadette Senyana to leadership positions for the 2021-2022 bar year beginning September 1, 2021.
As elected officers, Amy Conners will serve as Co-Vice President of Membership and Joel Schroeder will represent the Minnesota Chapter as its National Council Delegate. As part of the Chapter’s executive committee leadership, Katie Barrett Wiik will serve as the Strategic Initiatives Coordinator, and Bernadette Senyana will serve as Co-Chair of the Newer Lawyers Committee, coordinating gatherings and monthly luncheons for lawyers who have been practicing for five years or less.
Katie, Amy and Joel are also continuing their current terms of service on the Chapter’s Board of Directors.
The Minnesota Chapter of the FBA is one of the largest and most active chapters of the FBA. The Chapter collaborates with the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, affinity bar associations, and community partners to carry out its core mission of strengthening the federal legal system, promoting the administration of justice, expanding the diversity of the profession, and encouraging cordial and friendly relations among members of the federal bench and bar in Minnesota.
