Private Wealth Planning
Robert A. McLeod is listed as among the Top 100 Lawyer in Minnesota for his accomplished probate, trust, guardianship and fiduciary litigation practice. From simple wills to high net wealth preservation, Bob advises clients in all stages of probate matters. Bob is a frequent speaker on topics surrounding estate planning, and collaborated with the Minnesota Legislature on drafting the state’s probate and guardianship law. Active in our community, Bob most recently volunteered as a hockey coach with the MN Mosquitos AAA Club.
Jennifer A. Lammers assists her clients with drafting wills and trusts, wealth transfer techniques, estate and gift tax issues, charitable planning, probate, trusts administration, disability planning, guardianships and conservatorships, and elder law matters. Her comprehensive experience also includes working with families on business succession goals for closely held businesses. An active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Law Section legislative committee, Jennifer has drafted numerous bills and has testified before various Minnesota House and Senate committees in support of those bills. Jennifer is an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and is recognized as both a Minnesota Super Lawyer and one of the Best Lawyers in America.
Janna M. Crowley joins Best & Flanagan as a Private Wealth Planning associate. She creates custom estate plans for families and individuals of all asset levels, drafts wills and trusts, and assists clients having assets in or transitioning residency to Florida.
Bob, Jennifer and Janna have transferred their practices to Best & Flanagan from Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, formerly Briggs and Morgan.
Intellectual Property
Alexander J. Farrell is a registered patent attorney. With his in-depth, specialized knowledge of patents, trademarks, copyright and trade secrets, Alex is able to help clients at every stage of business maximize and protect their intellectual property. Alex volunteers his time as a board member of the Richfield Foundation, awarding annual grants to non-profit and local organizations for proposals best benefitting the Richfield community. He joins us from Hellmuth & Johnson.
Business & Corporate Law
Bernadette Senyana joins Best & Flanagan from Honeywell as a Business Law associate. She has experience in the legal departments of non-profit and corporate organizations providing guidance and support on a variety of matters including: negotiating and drafting agreements, corporate governance and registration, legal and industry compliance, labor and employment, mergers and acquisitions, data privacy and protection, private equity, and government contracting.
