William R. Asp is a co-chair of Best & Flanagan’s Private Wealth Planning section. His practice includes estate planning, estate administration, trust administration and estate and trust litigation for a wide range of clients including both individuals and families. Bill is a frequent speaker on various estate planning topics, a co-author of the Minnesota CLE Estate Administration Deskbook, and has been selected to the Minnesota Rising Stars list, Minnesota Super Lawyers list, and Minnesota Monthly’s Top Lawyers in Minnesota list.

Bill is active in the community, and has served as a board member and advisory board member of Reach Out and Read Minnesota, Inc., a nonprofit organization that prepares America’s youngest children to succeed in school by partnering with doctors to prescribe books and encourage families to read together. Bill is also a member of the St. John’s University Planned Giving Committee.

Prior to joining Best & Flanagan, Bill was a law clerk for the Legislation Committee of the Probate & Trust Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association.
