Sarah Crippen Joins Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies Boards

March 4, 2026

We are incredibly pleased and proud to share the news that our friend and partner Sarah Crippen has been named to the Boards of Directors and Program Committees for the Margaret A. Cargill Foundation and the Anne Ray Foundation.

Sarah has been a vital part of Best & Flanagan since she joined as a summer associate in 1990. Her leadership, both as our former managing partner and as chair of the Litigation and Employment Law practice groups, has been instrumental in guiding our firm with clarity and integrity.

Speaking on her election, Dan Grimsrud, Board Chair at Best & Flanagan, remarked, “Sarah has been a cornerstone contributor to our firm for more than 30 years. In addition to her service as a firm leader, Sarah has been an exceptional lawyer, colleague, and friend – embodying the Best & Flanagan ethos of great lawyers and better people. Sarah’s been a trusted advisor to clients of all shapes and sizes, and it is extremely gratifying to see our friends at the Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies honor her wisdom and judgment with this appointment. Sarah will continue to be an integral part of the Best & Flanagan team, and we’re thrilled to know that this new platform will give her the opportunity to share her skills and talents even more broadly.”

Sincere congratulations to Sarah and our friends at the Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies – we can’t wait to see what they accomplish together!
