Summary
The Accounting Assistant is an entry level position, who will primarily work with the accounting department on various department needs including AR/AP, billing, collections, and special projects. The Accounting Assistant will also work with legal administrative assistants and attorneys on an as-needed basis for accounting related duties or projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide back up to Billing and Collections Specialist and AR/AP Specialist
- Work closely with the accounting team to assist or lead accounting or financial related projects and tasks
- Manage and update system information, including new or existing client information and financial information and data
- Scan and electronically manage accounting records and files
- Other projects as assigned

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Entry level position, but experience in accounting or law firm setting is preferred
